what willpower
I’m Laura Coglianese, LJ for short.
I don’t coach your sport. I don’t coach your career. I coach what’s in the way.
Whether you’re an athlete freezing under pressure or a high performer hitting the same ceiling over and over, the root is usually the same. A pattern running quietly in the background that more reps, more strategy, and more willpower haven’t touched.
I’m a licensed social worker and certified EFT practitioner.
I work with what no one else is coaching: your subconscious mind and nervous system. The internal stuff that shows up right when the stakes are highest. And keeps showing up, no matter what you try.

Which One Are You?
When the pressure is external
You perform in front of people who are watching to see if you deliver. A crowd, a client, a board, a scoreboard. The pressure comes from outside you and your body has learned to respond to it whether you want it to or not.
You put in the work and something still shifts the second the stakes go up
You freeze, tighten, or spiral in the exact moments that matter most
A bad outcome follows you into the next one and you cannot shake it loose
You have tried the mindset work, the visualization, the pep talks. Still hitting the same wall.
Your training is dialed in. Your nervous system was never trained at all. That is what we work with.
when the exposure is the pressure
You built something people can see. A brand, an audience, a business with your name on it. The freeze does not happen before a big moment, it happens before the ordinary ones. The post you almost do not publish. The idea you sit on for three months. The gap between who you are when the camera is on and who you actually are.
You know exactly what to say and still cannot make yourself hit record
You self-sabotage in ways you can see clearly and still can't stop
You've done therapy, read the books, tried the habits but something still hasn't shifted
The harder you push, the more it feels like you're working against yourself
The pattern isn't a character flaw. It's a nervous system response. And it's trainable.
